Halloween Howler

The Halloween Howler is a Saturday afternoon/evening trail run that provides the perfect backdrop to an evening of surprises, and maybe a few spooks!! Part of a series designed to introduce people to night running, competitors enjoy a safe and supported 5km loop race under headtorch. The shorter distances are completed before sunset, with the 21k, 42k and 50k pushing into the night.
Safe and supported – yes. But be prepared for some of those strange happenings that only occur at Halloween!

Note that all prices below INCLUDE GST, but will have Humanitix** fees added at check-out.
Tickets will be available to purchase on location on race day. Prices will include an additional on-day admin fee.

**Trailsplus uses the Humanitix Ticketing System. This is an awesome ticketing platform run by a not-for-profit organisation that donates 100% of the profits from booking fees to a humanitarian cause.

Course Map
In 2023, the Halloween Howler will be held on the original course in the Western Plantation. Last year’s move to the New Years Eve course was temporary due to flooding in the Plantation.

All Trailsplus events donate $1 for each participant to Canteen, the Australian organisation for young people living with cancer.
UPDATE: In 2023, there were 130 competitors and $55 donations through registration. So Trailsplus rounded it up and donated $200 to Canteen from the Halloween race.
